The SHRM® Learning System Course Online Training Provided Live Each Week via Two-way Video-Over-Internet (VoIP) Webcast

Thursdays, August 18 – November 3, 2011; 6 - 9 p.m.

The University of Arkansas Global Campus will offer the 12-session SHRM Learning System Course via live, interactive video-over-internet (VoIP).  You may log in from anywhere to “attend” the class 6 - 9 p.m. Thursdays, August 18 to November 3, 2011, or log on any time after the class to view or review the recorded session.  Using Elluminate!(TM)   technology, the University of Arkansas Global Campus SHRM Learning System faculty will deliver course content “live” from a Rogers Global Campus classroom.  This course is designed for two audiences:

 
  • Participants seeking continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field, and
  • Participants preparing to take the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by the HR Certification Institute.

The University of Arkansas Global Campus program has an outstanding record of participants passing the certification exams, exceeding the national average in the aggregate. 

The program uses the SHRM®Learning System which is updated with current HR policies and legislation. As a professional development tool, the Learning System can increase a participant’s knowledge of the field of human resources and provide current reference of HR practices. This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
